Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Agency and users in relation to the use of services provided on the website (hereinafter “Site”) operated by the Architectural Performance Institute (hereinafter “Institution”).
Article 2 (Definition)
- “Site” refers to a website operated by an organization to provide information and services to users.
- “User” refers to a person who accesses the site and uses the service in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and change of terms and conditions)
These Terms and Conditions become effective upon posting on the Site. The organization may change the terms and conditions to the extent that they do not violate relevant laws, and when changes are made, the effective date and changes will be announced on the site.
Article 4 (Provision and change of services)
The organization provides services such as introduction of the organization, guidance on the certification system, announcements, provision of materials, and online inquiries, and may change all or part of the service depending on operational and technical needs.
Article 5 (Service usage time)
In principle, the service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, the provision of the service may be temporarily suspended for reasons such as system inspection, failure, or natural disaster.
Article 6 (User Obligations)
Users must not do the following:
- Stealing other people’s information and registering false information
- Acts that infringe upon the rights of institutions and third parties, including copyrights.
- Actions that interfere with the stable operation of the site
- Acts that violate relevant laws and public order and morals
Article 7 (Management of posts)
If a post posted by a user violates relevant laws or these Terms and Conditions, the institution may delete the post or restrict posting without prior notice.
Article 8 (Attribution of copyright)
Copyright and other intellectual property rights for materials posted on the site belong to the institution. Users may not use it for commercial purposes, such as copying, distributing, or transmitting, without prior consent from the organization.
Article 9 (Disclaimer)
The organization shall not be liable for the inability to provide services due to natural disasters, causes attributable to users, or reasons beyond the reasonable control of the organization.
Article 10 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)
Disputes related to these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and if a dispute arises, the competent court shall be a court in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act.
Supplementary Provisions: These terms and conditions will be effective from June 30, 2026.
