About the Certification System
Through comprehensive investigation, research, evaluation, verification, and certification required for the performance enhancement of domestic building products, the Institute implements a performance-centered building production process and widely disseminates and utilizes it, thereby fostering a sound building culture and serving the safety of public life and the public interest.
To achieve this purpose, Article 4 (1) of the Articles of Association stipulates carrying out investigation, R&D, evaluation, verification, certification, and related support programs for building performance.
However, the building performance certification business is conducted only when the performance indicator standards established by the expert committee pass the final approval of the Board of Directors.
