Building Performance Testing & Evaluation
Overview
To improve the performance of domestic building products, the Institute carries out comprehensive investigation, research, evaluation, verification, and certification. Through this, it realizes a performance-centered building production process and widely disseminates and utilizes it to foster a sound building culture, ultimately enhancing the safety of public life and serving the public interest.
To achieve this purpose, Article 4 (2) of the Articles of Association stipulates establishing standards for the building performance grade and evaluation system and conducting evaluations accordingly.
Implementation System
Testing Center
The Institute's Testing Center takes the lead in performance-related testing.
Evaluation Center
The Institute's Evaluation Center takes the lead in performance-related evaluation.
However, the building performance certification business proceeds only when the performance indicator standards established by the expert committee receive final approval from the Board of Directors.
